Birkdale Glamping is a limited-time pop-up experience created especially for The Open Championship 2026. Located at Southport and Birkdale Sports Club, just a short walk from Royal Birkdale Golf Club, our site offers a one-of-a-kind base for golf fans looking for a unique experience.
Accommodation
Accommodation comes in the form of fully furnished luxury bell tents, sleeping up to four people in comfort. Each tent includes real bed frames with mattresses, duvets and pillows, lighting, flooring, bedside tables, and charging points - everything you need for a restful night’s sleep between days at the course or nights enjoying the atmosphere.
Entertainment
This is much more than just a place to stay. All guests get access to the family-friendly festival which will run throughout the week of The Open. Expect live music, outdoor bars, and a giant screen showing both the Championship and the World Cup semi-finals and final. Shower and toilet facilities are available on-site, along with full use of the clubhouse amenities.
